THE L.O.V.E. AWARDS

When dancer, philanthropist, and author, Dianne Shorte published her first book, “Finding the Power to Change Your World,” she decided to launch it by creating an awards show to honor the women it featured.  In her book, Dianne shares stories of her own survival, and ability to thrive in the face of tragedy, pain and emotional suffering, and the road that led to her victories.  Her book is filled with inspiration for girls and women, and, it is an example of their ability to endure life’s challenges and recognize their power.

An Emmy Award honors television excellence; a Tony Award recognizes Theatrical aptitude; the Music Industry honors its excellence with a Grammy Award, and the Oscars validates cinematic excellence, artistic creativity and technological advancements in film.  Dianne’s L.O.V.E. Awards highlights and honors the ordinary extraordinary individual whose life inspires and empowers the lives of others.

Dianne’s brain-child, The L.O.V.E. Awards, recognizes individuals and the impact one person’s life can have, not only in their community, but on the whole world.  The honorees are nominated by colleagues, family members, students and clients. For the past four years, over 600 guests have witnessed women from all walks of life being honored in various categories such as Wife of the Year, Inspiration, Courage, Sisterhood, Excellent Educator, Entrepreneur Mom, Philanthropist, Amazing Millennial, Lifetime Achievement, Christian Spirit, Volunteer of the Year and Future CEO.  The L.O.V.E. Awards also pays tribute to one man each year with the M.O.V.E. (Man Operating Very Effectively) Award.
